Group ISA
Traditionally an ISA would not form part of any employee benefit package but we believe that today it is one benefit that is worth consideration by employers.
An ISA to help employees plan for retirement
Importantly if you offer an ISA to your employees they would not get income tax relief on contributions to the ISA. However with recent government changes this is less of an issue for those earning over £130,000 each tax year.
Although this initial tax relief is not available onve the money is within the ISA it can grow and then be taken tax free. This is different to a corporate pension as, dependent on the income tax levels in the future, income will normally be taxed.
In simple terms you can consider the difference between a pension and an ISA in the you will get tax relief on the way in with a pension and tax relief on the way out with an ISA.
We offer a free initial review to all employers and our independent consultants will be able to discuss your requirements and explain the different options available to you along with the advantages and disadvantages of each.
